Two hours of walking, for a view. I kept my eyes at the setting they were already at. Somebody near me used the word breathtaking and I let it pass.

Then the beach, which got sand in the wheels

That sand is a permanent feature of the chair now. The sea was extremely loud about itself for four straight hours and nobody asked it to stop.

The desk is still there. So is the work. So am I, technically.

Being away from the keyboard is not a decision you keep making. You make it once, badly, on an ordinary afternoon, and then the world quietly builds itself around your absence and nobody sends a follow up. If the chair stops moving I will reconsider. It has not stopped moving.
